THE SHORT OF IT WAS, MISSED THE SPACE NEEDED BEFORE THE LAST FORWARD SLASH IN THE TARGET INSERTED ARGUMENT SCRIPT PATH! :roll:
DON'T COPY/ PASTE IN THE ARGUMENT BECAUSE IT CAN CHANGE IT TAKING OUT THE SPACES! TYPE IT IN CAREFULLY :!:
LOOKED MORE CLOSELY AT THE POSTED SCRIPT AND CLOSER EXAMINATION SHOWED BOTH SPACES :!: :oops:

I POSTED THE STEPS IN THE TECHNICAL MARKER EDITOR RECAP THREAD I STARTED AND EDITED IN AT THE TOP FIRST POST TO THIS THREAD. I WILL BE QUOTING ANNABELLE'S MARKER EDITOR USE/ DIRECTIONS INTO THE OTHER THREAD. THANX ANNABELLE :D

i am glad it worked jahmen. goren is a kind and patient instructor. he has guided me through the process on SKYPE for 2 hours and then through many follow ups ................... thanks to him, kirk and i still have our games :)

Yes Goren is and it's my understanding according to other explorers that Goren has helped many explorers get their Marker Editor working again. Of course this means many explorers will be able to remake the best of what they had for others to still get the chance to play them!

Perhaps the MOUL,a,a Reset was a blessing in disguise, as I had so many Quests sent to me, I couldn't have ever possibly played them all in my lifetime! :shock:

I posted this thread with the same spirit with which Goren, Annabelle and others have helped me get my Marker Editor working again. My hope is it will help others get back into MOUL,a to contribute Quest content again to the Uru Community.

I realize very few Explorers play Quests and even less play them if they are too challenging.
Quest making and playing is certainly is a niche' pursuit few explorers take the time with these days.
For those explorers who make Quests, often it's just about the fun of the making them and later sharing them others.
Quest making is complicated in terms of types and difficulty of play meeting and finding what the normal explorer looks for when choosing to play another's Quest. However, the more explorers making them, the better it is to meet all of Uru's explorer's diverse interests in Quests.

CWE 1.981 Client Marker Editor/ MY NEW PROBLEM

Started editing with usual /list and then download of Quest I made to insert my saved CITY LIGHTS text into my Jahmen.0.txt file. Then the /upload Jahmen.0.txt Failed! :shock: What! :roll:

Opened my Minkata Spoiler Quest I had recently made since the reset to compare it to my old save Quest text.
Immediately it was clear the CWE Marker Editor changed the Quest text format.
Old Lyrositor's Marker Editor version used quotation marks and braces { } or Curly Brackets with commas.

The CWE had no braces, but used apostrophes in their better grouped line statements.
CWE editor is easier to line read with a better grouped marker statement than the older more spaced out Marker Editor version I had before above in my own opinion and I could understand if that was maybe why they changed it.

(Note: my CWE example here was from memory so it might not be exactly right)
I'm was looking to find out how other explorers over-came and converted their old saved Quest markers text into the newer CWE version? Changing my Old Quest text over into the new marker text format appears it would be overly labor intense.
Although, I did manage a quick test to insert a few old markers into a newly created Quest and changed their text over into the new format and upload it successfully.
Then I tried a block of about 15 and failed! Sheesh!
