I know this wasn't an issue when I played a year or two ago, but it seems as if now there's a 30fps cap in place with vsync turned off both ingame and in the control panel. The retail version of Uru works fine and renders as many frames as it can, way above 60, yet with MOULa it seems to be locked at 30 no matter what settings are changed. Is this intentional and are there way workarounds for it? A game locked at 30fps for me is virtually unplayable.

It shouldn't matter, but here are my specs.

Intel i5 2500K 3.3Ghz
Nvidia GTX 970
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 16GB

Like I said, this fps limit was not there when I played MOULa a year or two ago, so what happened?

I'm pretty sure that MOUL has always been 30 fps. I believe some of the shards, Gehn's specifically, is not so limited, and Uru CC is not limited as well.

Adam, or one of the others who know a LOT more that me, could give you more accurate info.

MOULa has been limited to 30 fps since I've joined and pobably longer. And yes, some shards aren't limited. TOC dropped that a long time ago. I hope the MOULa client will be able to do same some day; it looks way better with higher fps.

Yes, there is a limit in the game code of 30fps. It's why the standard MOULa client seems so janky on modern PCs... For detailed technical details, look here. The frame rate limiter was removed in the H-uru fork, impacting shards such as Gehn and TOC.
