This is a test of the GoMe Universal Translator...This is only a test.:

With Dnifont installed, this should work:

[/quote]
Had this been an actual auto-translation, this test would have been converted completely into D'ni.

OT: Pigbristles and I "competed" for a long time over who could hold out longest at running MOULa on out-of-date, underpowered equipment.

There is nothing wrong with your Pascal architecture. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. We can roll the image, make it flutter. We can change the focus to a soft blur or sharpen it to crystal clarity. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. We repeat: there is nothing wrong with your Pascal architecture. You are about to participate in a great adventure. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to – The Outer Limits.

Sorry I couldn't resist

@Jamie/Mods: Thread hijack...Sorry!!!

Yeah, I had major issues too, my laptop keep freezing/locking under Windows 10. (And I mean like after just 10 or so minutes of usage.) Had to roll back to 8.1. Really couldn't be happier, and that's sayin' something.

Thanks for validating my decision not to update, Nev'!

However, I'm about to buy a new PC laptop - but these days they all come with 10 installed.

Wish I could just wipe it and start with Linux-only, but 1)I don't have the time to deal with the curve and 2)need to use too many Windows-only apps. Guess I'll have to buy yet another copy 0f 8.

Now, back to your regularly-scheduled off-topic topics!

This 2017-2018 winter in Canada will be very cold and snowy. My small snowblower has expired. It might be a good reason to get one of these machines to clear my driveway

One bug I forgot. I would need a bigger garage and lots of new tools.

I have a snowblower...he's called a teenager. This winter will keep him out of trouble. He had to shovel 3x on Christmas Eve.

Maybe there was a teenager that came near my house and and hid a few magazines under the walkway snow and blocked my snowblower impeller. grrrrr

Blocked so tight that I was not even able to burned it with a propane torch. Will have to wait for spring to tear everything apart !!!

Get the snowblower in the heat and spray the blades with hot vinegar water. The paper will turn to mush.

Impossible :!: My car snow shelter cannot be heated. I have tried with gasoline & lots of liquid wrench but no go

Thank you for the idea.

P.S.
I will buy an alternative saw with a long bi-metal demolition blade and will try to cut the paper between the impeller and the housing
