ahnonay - missing control in tower?

I recently restarted URU online, and am in the POTS section, specifically Ahnonay. There should be a second lever in the tower of sphere 1 that turns on the red light over the door - but it's not there! So none of the other levers in the back chambers do anything, and this I cannot get to #4. What happened?

It sounds like you're expecting the online version of Ahnonay to be the same as the offline single player version.
It also sounds like you're at the point where you need a friend to help you progress further.

Ah - I had forgotten that this was rebuilt to force multi-player.

Now I have to remember what the process was before I ask for help ...

This is just a nitpick on my part, but you've got that backwards. It was originally created as multi-player for the online version and reworked for a single player in the offline version when Uru was cancelled the first time.

Ah, the old memories come back: So I now remember that this has to do with sharing my relto with someone, and then having them link to my ahnonay via my shelf. Then they do the run around the circle and move the spheres, while I ride the spheres and hit the shell cloth at the right time, and then I hove to link out and back after another rotation or so, IIRC. Hmmm, this will take some thinking ....

Ah ok, I'm well aware on how to solve Ahnonay, I just thought it was too much for new players but if we are in such section of the forum board... I stand corrected!

And then the PotS version was reworked for multiplayer. We never saw the original intention of Ahnoying

I have been trying to complete Ahnonay and with the help of a buddy, I can get to the last shell cloth in the age. BUT when I go back to the original island, its once again covered with the Quabs and I have to start over in the first sphere. was there a change made to this age since 2004, that keeps you from returning to the 4th sphere? when I link back to the last shell cloth, the door that leads back to the chair is closed and there is no way to open it. I would appreciate any help I could get...

Now you know why Uru Live never make big compare to Uru CC solo. There seemed that Cyan had another hidden agenda... suicide after Ubisoft took over ?

It's normal to find that the quabs have returned if you leave any time before going back to the first age. But by going back there, you've moved the fourth sphere out of reach and closed the door. To get back there, you need to go back through the two-handed maneuver to open the door. Usually, once I've got access to the fourth sphere I just leave it there.
