Big KI issues

We have a serious KI problem - The KI is not updated - it only shows a snapshot from the moment of logging in. This problem exists as far as I can see for all players alike. On Wednesday there was a Networkerror 2 that threw all players out of the game and since then this problem exists.

(the list of players does not update. The KI indicates the current status when logging in. It remains so, it is not to see who comes or goes. You are still seeing players online that have gone long ago. And players who come new, you see only when they write to you. All players have the same problem.
Is there a solution? :?:

It sounds like a server restart is needed, but it's possible that no-one from Cyan will see this until Monday.

Visiting Aegura over the weekend, my KI seem to be work normally. It registered who was in the Age when I arrived, and tracked additional visitors who arrived and left while I was there. Text communication seemed normal. There were some folks chatting with each other about having KI troubles, but I wasn't clear from the conversation what the problems were. Am I misunderstanding Minasunda's OP?

Everything seems to work in the same age. Except that you can not receive KI photos or KI messages. These arrive after the next log in. The Ageplayerlist seems to be ok.

But the problem described refers to the whole game - so the communication across different Ages away - that is the Buddielist.
It is frustrating for most players to be unable to respond when they are contacted - because the KI indicates that player is offline. And it's just as frustrating not to get a response

Also, the players remain in the Buddielist when they have left the game.

But: the good news is, Cyan is working on solving the problem and there will be a server restart as soon as the problem is located.

We restarted the servers this morning to clean up the KI mess that happened with the connection issue the other day. The KIs appear to be behaving normally now.
