Hi all you stalwart explorers!
I'm exploring a bit as I do every few years for nostalgia and to introduce a friend to Uru.. I found I had made an avatar called The Great Tree in order to secure The Great Tree's Hood for a neighborhood name, but as of 2014 I hadn't done anything with it or invited anybody (oops). I checked out the neighborhood, decided I wanted to try for different decorations, and deleted the hood to get a new one, but I FORGOT this adds a parentheses and a number after the hood's name, which is VERY VERY UNTIDY for an old organization such as TGT. :(
Is there a way I can undo this? Delete the Avatar and remake? Have a ResEng change the name? I'm all dismayed over this tiny snafu.. LOL

Might be possible that Cyan could do this. But, didn't you have any neighbours in that hood that you might be able to contact to invite you to join that hood again? That would probably the easiest way.

If the TGT hood had an L (not capitalised), it would be a really easy...

Creating a new avatar with the name would do the trick alright, but what I don't know is whether deleting an avatar frees up the name in the server database. Perhaps someone else will have the answer to that.

No neighbors, the hood was private and no one else had been invited yet, I'm afraid. :/

I don't know of a solution, but I hope you are able to find one, Moiety Jean. Either way, I'd enjoy getting to visit the Great Tree hood again. I'd wander through other hoods setting their light garden lights to just green sometimes when I was feeling nostalgic and the Great Tree hood wasn't available for a visit.

Ah, the past, it always lurks.

Contacting Cyan is the best option in my opinion.
