Our dear friend and long-time explorer, Tai'lahr, passed away on Wednesday, October 17. It was very sudden, leaving her friends, family, and many, many explorers across the Metaverse in shock.
Prayers and thoughts are on this thread
Tai'lahr was a prominent member of the Cavern Community, organizing events, helping new users, compiling information on each member of our community that passed away. When the Cavern closed and many refugees went to other worlds, Tai'lahr again helped many new Refugees join the groups there, remaining active nearly every day in Second Life. In addition, she created and maintained explorer memorials, including the Explorers' Memorial on the OpenUru Wiki.
Her absence - and the loss of our friend - both leave a vast chasm in the virtual worlds she was a part of around the Metaverse. It is unbelievable that she herself will soon be on the memorials she cared for so well. I will have the KRHI Radio/Radio KGOH stream up for most of the day today, and possibly over the next few days if music is needed for a memorial. You can listen at www.urutunes.com/KGOH or put this stream in your music player: http://23.111.166.218:8189 (doesn't play if you click it, sorry)
I will be in the Cavern, in the City, beginning at 3pm KI Time. I'll also be in Second Life, on the Spyralle Rooftop (Tai and Kerryth worked there together).
At 4pm KiTime, Janeerah will be in the Eder Gira city in Second Life. I should be there at that time as well.
There are more memorials and events planned, and I'll try to post them here as I hear about them.
