whats new?

gah havent been here since... build 8 or was it 9? and suddenly the page is different! and i read that the last beta phase is starting... so whats happening right now?
what about international explorers? havent heard anything, so am i still in a country thats not supported for beta?

Hi, Crrash. The last phase of closed beta is starting. We don't know if we're going to open beta or live next yet. The 'legal issues' list of GameTap countries hasn't changed. PM GreyDragon to find out any more news about Portugal.

The current build, "Live Build 1" is the build after Build 9, though there have been several hotfixes since.

Sorry, you're still in an unsupported country; supported countries are still Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States.

Australia might be on this list but i really wish they would tell us soon
and how the payments are to be set up.
It is leaving it awfully close to the last min if you ask me. :roll:

I'm going out on a limb here but I'm guessing they want credit card payments for the security purposes. To get a phone contract a few years back I needed a 'credit card garentee'. Alot of modern systems are simply checking your credit history, but some still want it.

Perhaps they were going for the quick and easy way to DESCRIBE it. Considering they own the service they're advertising, they aren't likely to say "Sign up for Gametap! Unless you live here here or here. Then use this or this, etc."

I think/hope they were just going for what's obvious to them. Hope you get in.
