This is not softened at all. If you don't want to get the entire solution, don't open the below spoiler.

It should be noted that if you don't know how to find your way around the complex, you can look that information up in a Path of the Shell walkthrough, readily available in a variety of locations. Like here.
To enter the Bahro cave, you need to have pressed all of the shellcloths. Following is a list of locations.

1. On the wall near the original location of the tram.
2. On a support for the rails near the pit.
3. In an alcove a short distance from the pit.
4. Between the two rails, near the complex.
5. On a post after taking the tram inside the complex.
6. Near the base of the windmill.
7. On the wall of the broken path leading from the pellet machine.

Once these are collected, go back to the alcove from #3. There should be a shell symbol. Don't go there yet. First, re-press the shellcloth behind it. Then proceed to Descent. Get the KI light from the KI machine. Immediately relto and take the shellcloth link into Er'cana. Walk into the large shell symbol. This should link you to the Bahro cave. The KI light should allow you to find the symbol on the wall.
Does the pellet machine still work like before, or can you even use it?

As in
625 D'ni seconds?
I read the bit in the other thread about the potential problems with them. I also read something about 4-5 HOURS, though, and that's scary.

Only? I was calling it the worst puzzle ever when it was only 15 minutes!

Granted, I wasn't sure if you could link away, so I had to alt-tab away, and now you can talk with people, so it won't seem so long, but it's just the THOUGHT.

Oh .. it's somewhat more then 625 D'ni seconds .. getting well past 1 and a half hours for me at this time.

The marker on the left side has only moved to the direct middle in the past few minutes (ie : points "west" ) .. I started this at 9pm my time .. Atlantic .. and it's now 10:35p.

I've left the age twice .. once to see if the thing would reset .. and then to get my donut half. Then logged out .. voluntarily once .. and booted once .. only to find the thing tickin' away when I returned. :?

I can't believe I used to complain when it was 15ish minutes ..

Cier :)

It took my pellets four hours (and two minutes) to cook.

I cannot get my KIlight to stay lit long enough, I think the timer runs out during the link to Er'cana
