I've gotta give some points to Cyan for the attention to details and possible situations in Uru. I have a little hobby of trying to arrange odd scenarios in games and seeing if the developers were clever enough to be prepared for it. Multiplayer introduces a TON of possibilities for things that were not possible in the single-player game. Uru continues to pass my tests with flying colors!

Here are a few situations I've come up with:

1.Take a buddy to Er'cana. Drain a mixing chamber, turn off the mixer, and open the ladder hatch. Have your friend climb down. Back in the control room, go ahead and fire things back up - the mixer looks pretty cool from underneath. Close the hatch and go out and laugh at your friend who is now trapped. They can still climb the ladder, but when they reach the hatch they'll make a humorous animation of pushing on the hatch from underneath and failing to open it. I need to get another person to come along and watch the animation from underneath. (Come to think of it, you could probably do this by yourself in the mixer with the broken drain pipe. But that's less funny).

2. Again to Er'cana! This time you really need a buddy along, and you might have to start with a fresh Er'cana - you can only do this a few times.
Coordinate and choose a fully-operational mixer that still has water. Go stand by the end of the drain pipe for that mixer, and have your buddy drain it. Sure enough:

Not exactly gushing, but there's an animation for it![/spoiler]

What unusual situations have you come up with? Feel free to post your own (they needn't be just of Er'cana).

I was thinking along the same lines, it must be possible for you to "drown" someone in there......

Songe, I'd be more than willing to drown for your amusement, but I was under the impression that the pumps are broken and once you drain the tanks you can't fill them back up again.

This is correct. :(

However, has anyone stood on the other side of the screens or on the other side of the drain door with the broken screen while someone else opened it? Do you see all the water pouring out?

As I recall, it won't open if you're in the tunnel.

However, standing just outside it, you CAN see the water come flowing out.

I was in Er'Cana with two friends driving the train. One deliberately stood on the walking path between the wagons before starting to see what would happen. And yes, as the walkway swung up he fell to down the ground and had to run below it.

Yes, that happed to a very dear friend of mine, to whom I'd promised a train ride! I had to drive the train back to the start to pick her up again :)

By the way, I tried to "donate" a pellet of mine to a visitor to my Er'cana last night, just to show him how it worked when they'd finished baking. He didn't seem to be able to take it to the silo. So I guess only the "rightful owner" can do that.

In our Er'Cana team all three of us could take pellets and bring them to the silo. But perhaps you need to enter the age though the owner's relto book, as we did, to be able to link to the right instance of the silo.

Oh, good - in that case it was user error :)

We weren't going to try it again, since that pellet was wasted! LOL
