Just for everyone's attention:

There is a fraud in the Cavern, who claims to be Douglas Shaper. He's name is showed as Douglas, but when I logged him, I saw his real name was DougIas. You can't see the difference due to the KI font.

So, be aware of this...

There was a ResEng at the cause, observing the fraud at first. After I left, I heard that the ResEng told the rest that it was a fraud.

It was announced a while ago that no one will be allowed to have a avatar name containing any branded words, or represent specifically anything in the Myst series, such as calling yourself Myst, or Kleenex, or Sharper, or BahroBoy, etc. It is probably in the game's agreement, or the Gametap agreement. I wonder how they will enforce that.

Hi all, avatar naming like that, in general impersonating a NonPlayer Character or a Cyan employee is against the Code of Conduct/Terms of Use (text appears before you enter the game).

For those who do not know how to handle such a situation:
The best way to handle such a situation is to write down the KI number and start logging (type /startlog) and then immediately to call a Game Master (ResEng): Go to options menu (tool symbol) and then click Contact Support. In the Support dialog click on In-Game Help and a web browser will pop up. Type in your email address and click submit. A GM (ResEng) will be with you shortly.

They may also ask you to write up a ticket. To do so, report the issue at http://support.urulive.com and provide important information like logs, names, KI numbers and if applicable screenshots.
